What's the difference between experiences and packages?

Our experiences are individual activities lasting from a 3 to 6-7 hours that you can book separately. Packages are multi-day all-inclusive stays combining accommodation, meals, activities, and premium services. We offer ready-made fixed packages at both Villa Tolonen (a 3-night and a 5-night all-inclusive stay) and Villa Manhattan (a 3-night all-inclusive stay, with a 5-night package coming soon), each with a set itinerary and price. Villa Tolonen also has a stay builder if you'd like to fully customise your own package.

Small group departures have a minimum age: 8 for Northern Lights Hunting, since car seats cannot be held for young children in a shared vehicle, and 12 for Snowshoeing, since the tour is physically demanding.

Absolutely. Your exact pickup time is confirmed based on your specified location. Pickups within 10km of Rovaniemi city center are included; for small group tours, a €30 fee applies for pickups beyond 10km. Ask about our transfer options if you're staying further away.

What is your cancellation policy for experiences?

To cancel an individual activity booking, you must notify us in writing by email to sales@lappitude.fi or through WhatsApp +358 40 359 1660. The cancellation is only effective from the date we receive your written notification. More than 24 hours before the activity: Full refund (100%). Less than 24 hours before the activity or no-show: No refund (0%). Additional terms: No refunds if you leave an activity early. Refunds are processed via the original payment method. Processing time can be 5–10 business days.

What happens if I'm the only one booked on a small group Northern Lights departure?

If a small group Northern Lights departure ends up with only one participant booked, we will contact you before the tour to offer a free reschedule or full refund.

We offer a 3-night and a 5-night fixed all-inclusive package at Villa Tolonen, and a 3-night fixed all-inclusive package at Villa Manhattan (with a 5-night package coming soon), each with a set daily itinerary (including a private snowmobile safari and a shared husky safari, plus a reindeer sleigh day on Villa Tolonen's 5-night package) and a fixed price for 2 people, with additional adult and child rates for larger groups. At Villa Tolonen, if a fixed package doesn't match what you have in mind, our stay builder lets you fully customise your nights, activities, and preferences instead.

How long in advance should I book my tour?

For packages, book 3-4 months ahead due to limited villa availability; for experiences, 1-2 weeks is usually sufficient, but earlier is better for peak seasons.

To cancel a package booking, you must notify us in writing by email to sales@lappitude.fi. The cancellation is only effective from the date we receive your written notification. 30 or more days before the package start date: Full refund including deposit (100%). 15–29 days before: 70% refund (30% cancellation fee applies). 7–14 days before: 50% refund (50% cancellation fee applies). Less than 7 days before or no-show: No refund (0%).
