What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar browser storage works the same way, so we cover both here and call them all cookies.

Necessary Cookies

These keep the site working and are always on. They are not used for tracking.

  • Cookie choice: remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies.
  • Partner referral: if you arrive through a partner link, stores the partner code for 30 days so the partner can be credited for your booking.
  • Stripe: set by our payment provider during online payment to process it securely and prevent fraud.
  • Staff login: keeps our own staff signed in to our internal booking tools.

Analytics Cookies

Only set if you accept. They help us understand which pages are useful and where our booking process can be improved.

  • Google Analytics: counts visits and page views and shows how visitors move around the site (cookies such as _ga, kept for up to 2 years).

Marketing Cookies

Only set if you accept. They tell us which of our ads led to a visit or booking, so we can spend our advertising sensibly.

  • Google Ads: measures bookings that come from our Google ads (cookies such as _gcl_au, kept for up to 90 days).
  • Meta Pixel: measures visits from our Facebook and Instagram ads (cookies such as _fbp, kept for up to 90 days).

Managing Your Choice

Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you click Accept in our cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time, and declining removes these cookies.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as online payment, from working.

For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
